Have you ever wondered what happened to good customer service? There was a time when the customer was always right. Even though we know this is not the case, the thought and care shown made a world of difference. Have you ever received good customer service? If so, you know when customer service is poor. I have been asking this question for the last fifteen years. Customer service is just not the same .
I find myself saying I should start a customer service consulting business. If a company wants to increase their sales and productivity, one area to focus on would be customer service. I am so glad Jesus is in the customer service business. He knew how to serve. He recognized he needed the Holy Spirit. Luke 4:18-19 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted , to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
I am guaranteed excellent customer service when I go to Jesus. John 13:12-15 "So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you." We must learn to serve like Jesus. Remember, Colossians 3:17 "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."
How are your Customer Service skills?
amen!
ReplyDeleteAMEN!!. I agree. now my customer service skills I've been taught by Jesus oh yeah and My momma, but this is so true. wonderfully written.
ReplyDeleteExactly what I was feeling this morning after your sister-in-law asked if God was leading us to a new home. She sent me an article about a preacher who stepped down from his unchallenged post as spiritual leader because God told him it was time for to leave. I'm not saying that I'm leading anyone right now, but it is clear that a new path is being prepared for us and as long as we linger in an unhealthy and stagnant environment, we will not grow.
ReplyDeleteThe rains were reaching our roots, but our gardener wasn't tilling his congregrational soil. Hence, bad customer service...
The Bible tells us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (II Peter 3:18) The song says where He leads me I will follow. It is the Master's desire that we grow. The Lord will plant your family in the place where you will be cultivated.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that my Customer Service Skill have not been up to par. I have asked to God to show me, myself and looking in the mirror I have been a really good Customer Service Representative for my Father. But I surrender completely and ask the Father to do it for me mold me into a good Customer Service Representative (a servant) who is surrendering all of herself. Father do it for me that I may set an example of good CSR skills. I am determined to be like HIM!
