Are you Salty?

What is a good steak without seasoning? Just think, your favorite sub without a little salt, pepper, oregano, oil and vinegar. Something is missing. Imagine your food bland or not seasoned to your unique taste buds. Have you ever been asked to be a taste tester and had to tell the cook something is missing? I'm sure we have stories about our food experiences.

Luke 9:50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves; and have peace one with another.

Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted ? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

We should be lights in this world. The love of God should emanate from us. Your presence should make a difference wherever you go. You should have the flavor of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You stand out when you're not trying to. Has someone ever say to you there is just something different about you? It is of uttermost importance that we not lose our savour. Jesus said we are the salt of the earth.

Start Again!

On your mark, get ready, get set, GO!!!! What is life? A human being has only one and it's our responsibility to live life to the fullest. Yes, along life's journey there are bumps, obstacles, afflictions, trials and tribulations, but the blessed thing is we can START AGAIN. Sometimes we start out strong, get weak, discouraged, disappointed and then give up. Proverbs 24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

As long as you have the breath of life in you never hesitate to start again. There are many new beginnings. Isaian 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth ; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

I encourage you each and every day to START AGAIN.  You will FINISH!!!! Phillippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

On your mark, get ready, get set, GO!!!!

Sounds of the Heart and Heaven

The gospel industry has become just that, an industry. The anointing has moved out and on in some areas. Where are the "Davids"? This new artist has a sound that touches the hearts and reaches heaven. Listen for yourselves!! Let's show our love and support. May God Bless His vessel and the sound.

Customer Service

Have you ever wondered what happened to good customer service? There was a time when the customer was always right. Even though we know this is not the case, the thought and care shown made a world of difference.  Have you ever received good customer service? If so, you know when customer service is poor. I have been asking this question for the last fifteen years. Customer service is just not the same .

I find myself saying I should start a customer service consulting business. If a company wants to increase their sales and productivity, one area to focus on would be customer service.  I am so glad Jesus is in the customer service business. He knew how to serve. He recognized he needed the Holy Spirit. Luke 4:18-19 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted , to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."

I am guaranteed excellent customer service when I go to Jesus.  John 13:12-15 "So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.  If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you." We must learn to serve like Jesus. Remember, Colossians 3:17 "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."

How are your Customer Service skills?

You Are Under Arrest

When we hear the word "arrest" our thoughts may immediately image police and crime. The police represents authority.  It's their responsibility to handcuff and lock "criminals" away. Websters Dictionary definition of arrest is to seize or take to jail on a charge of breaking the law. No one is exempted from being arrested.
It is evident in scriptures servants of God were arrested. The religious folks arrested the saved folks. What crime were they accused of committing? They were accused of preaching and teaching about Jesus Christ. These servants applied the Word of God to their lives while the religious folks had a form of godliness and denied the power.  Peter was arrested and Prayer unlocked the doors. Paul and Silas were locked up and Praise unlocked the doors. No weapon formed against them prospered.

You Are Under Arrest. You've been charged for selling out to Jesus, committing your thoughts to the Lord, and loving the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, strength and soul. If you posted bail after being arrested, I admonition you to turn yourself in. There is a warrant out for your arrest. You were bought with a price and no longer your own. Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being. Jesus paid it all.

Have you submitted to the arrest?

Joshua 22:5 But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord you God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
