It Is Finished!!

I am grateful and humbled by you. I want to thank each one that has supported my blog, Waters of Wisdom. My heart is full of gratitude to the visible and invisible followers and those that stop by occasionally. The journey has been great, but your love and support encouraged me. My prayer is that the blessings of the Lord overtake you in 2013. Trust God, its a must!

Write It Off!!!

As we close 2012 and enter 2013, we must make a conscious decision to Write It Off. It's time to get off the merry-go-round, ferris wheel, and roller coaster.  Its time to walk into purpose and destiny. Write It Off!

People, places, situations, circumstances, and obstacles that have been dead weights and fruitless. Write It Off!

Don't look at it as a loss. A loss doesn't necessarily mean a loss. A loss can mean a Win. Remember this, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

It's time to take inventory. It's time to count up the cost. It's time to make decisions. It's time to get unstuck.

Write It Off!

I Made It!!!

Three words: I Made It!

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethen, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.   Philippians 3:12-14

Blessings!
I Made It!

Thirty-Three (33)

Thirty-Three Days left in this new year we once called 2012. No longer new, it had its ups and downs, sorrows and joys, ins and outs, and so much more. 2012 came and now leaving in 33 days. It's not over and it's not too late.

Revisit your goals list, short and long term. Check off the things you accomplished and decide what you can achieve in 33 days. Don't delay and don't be dismayed, you can do it if you really want. Theologians estimate Jesus earthly life to Thirty-Three years. 30 years of preparation plus 3 years of public ministry.

John [3:3], Jesus answered him, "Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above." It's just 33 days left. Jeremiah [33]:3, "Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known." It's just Thirty plus Three days left.

Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. I John 5:7-8, "This is the one who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ, not with the water only but with the water and the blood. And the Spirit is the one that testifies, for the Spirit is the truth. There are three that testify:  the Spirit and the water and the blood, and these three agree." 2012 is quickly departing right before our eyes in 33 days. What will we do with the 33 days left?

What is the biblical significance of 33
http://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/33-and-34.html

The number 33 is connected to promise or the promises of God. The 33rd time Noah’s name is used in the Bible, God promised to never again destroy the world with a flood and sealed His promise with the sign of the rainbow. Genesis 9:12-16

The 33rd time Abraham’s name is used in God's word Isaac — the child of promise — was born, Isaac. Genesis 21:1-2

The 33rd time Jacob’s name is found in scripture he promised to give a tenth of all he had to God when he had a vision of a ladder reaching to heaven (referred to as Jacob's ladder).
Genesis 28:10-12, 16:22

The significance of thirty-three is also seen at Jesus' age at death, 33, which was the fulfillment of all the prophecies and promises concerning the Savior of man.

The divine name of God, Elohim, appears 33 times in the story of creation found in the opening chapters of Genesis. Number 33 also is a numerical representation of the Star of David (also known as the shield of David) and the numerical equivalent of the word.

Shifting in Him!

I have shared many times in the last couple of months we are experiencing major and minor shifts. Some shifts we have to brace ourselves, while others its a smooth move. Nevertheless, all shifts ordained and sealed by God is good.

When God is in it, what can go wrong? Father knows best. It might not feel good, it may not look pleasing to the eye, it may have sounds of hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, winds, etc. but know if the true and living God is in it you will land, coast, and cruise.

Shifting is movement. It can be natural and/or spiritual. If God is in it, rest in it. Brace yourself if you must, cry if you must....just know if its God, He has you. There are losses and gains in shifting. Losses to be returned and losses to write off. Gains to bring increase, elevation, and celebration.

Never take life for granted or family and friends. Beware of friends in disguise you might be surprised. The winds may blow and the storms may rise. At times they come with purpose to shift you to the next.

Don't hold on to persons, places, and things that are not going with you in the shift. They become a matter of weight. Shifting.........I surrender........I submit.......I agree........ I'm shifting in Him.

Shifting

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.   Zechariah 4:6

Be Strengthened!!!

True leaders are needed with a servant's heart. The ultimate example is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Jesus knew He was sent from and by God. He stayed focused and did not become distracted. Has your mission focus been changed by someone or something? It's not too late to regroup and redeem the time. Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. John 4:34

He's Wonderful!!!

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unfathomable (inscrutable, unsearchable) are His judgments (His decisions)! And how untraceable (mysterious, undiscoverable) are His ways (His methods, His paths)!

For who has known the mind of the Lord and who has understood His thoughts, or who has [ever] been His counselor? Or who has first given God anything that he might be paid back or that he could claim a recompense? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.

[For all things originate with Him and come from Him; all things live through Him, and all things center in and tend to consummate and to end in Him.] To Him be glory forever! Amen (so be it).

Romans 11:33-36

His Will!

Be determined not to settle for less. Your choice might be God's less for you. Nevertheless not as I will, but as Your will.

His Will!

Suffer!

.....only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us.       Romans 8:17

Trust!!!

Fear breaks relationships (trust is the bridge that establishes relationships). You can have love and even genuine forgiveness, but if you do not have trust, a relationship is not possible.

Fear and pride tear down the trust that makes a relationship possible, therefore creating division.

Let Us!!!

Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance.

And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation. Romans 5:3-4

Instructions for Living

See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 1 Thessalonian 5:17-24

From Me to You

This poem was penned by Apostle Jacqueline Walters. The poem is dedicated to all the wonderful Educators at Living Waters Christian Church of NC.

Today is the day we're back at school
Don't be dismayed everything will be cool
Old faces new faces common core too
Be encouraged you will learn that too

Now take a deep breath and make the big step
To walk through the doors with no regrets
You have to do it no ifs ands or buts
DPS is depending on you to get them out of this crux

You can do it so roll up your sleeves
You worked real hard for this new pay increase
1.2 is not enough
Take it anyways its a bag of lunch

Now sit back and listen to all the presenters
They've worked hard to be ready for September
No sleeping doodling or surfing the net
Listen up lets help kids pass the test

Maybe they'll give us a free lunch too
Eat, eat up no more until June
I hope you smiled chuckled and laughed
I thought of you we can face this task

EOG is still the buzzword
No retest so please say a prayer
Did I say prayer they took it out
That's the real answer to why were here

I have to go but want you to know
You're appreciated this is no show
June 7th will be here before you know

Fire power anointing too
It's going to take all three for what we're about to do
Be blessed and remember not to stress
God has you you're the best

Written from my heart with love for you
Blessings and Favor all year through

Much Love, Joy, and Peace!!!
Apostle Jackie

Mandates vs Choices

Somethings in life are choices. Others are mandates from God. It's important to know the difference.
Mandates we must follow! Choices we must be make wisely.

Obey

Obey is a four letter word problematic to many. We sometimes bring attention to the youth who fail to obey. Needless to say its the bigger youth, men and women, who not only fail to obey, but choose to disobey. It's amazing how we ignore our disobedience and then attempt to justify our actions.

We will find an excuse and/or reason for our actions. We're too smart to say the devil made me do it, but attempt to plead temporary insanity. We may even attempt the I'm learning plea. Ever learning, and never coming to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Timothy 3:7

Rest assure difficulties and challenges face us all. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 Sometimes our intellect can get the best of us. Actually our intellect can trip us up and lead us to a place of disobedience.

Do you know disobedience can weaken our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit? It can cause us to hear wrong instead of right. It can make us choose our desires over His Will. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

Delayed Obedience is disobedience and Partial Obedience is also disobedience. Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and hearken than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22 It's easier to OBEY than disobey, repent and STILL OBEY.

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.   Isaiah 1:19

OBEY

All Three!!!

By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life. Proverbs 22:4

Will you take three for two? I know it doesn't sound like an even exchange, but it is a guaranteed reward. It will require you to do something. Question #1: Can you humble yourself without being forced? If you answered yes, proceed to the next question. If you hesitated, struggled, or found difficulty answering yes its possible you have a problem with pride.

The opposite of humility is pride. There are many forms of pride. Can you recognize pride in your life? Don't wait too late. Make your confession to God and seek His forgiveness. God hates pride. Now you can join the ranks and proceed to the next question.

Question #2: Do you fear the Lord? If you answered yes, you are ready to receive All Three. If the question caught you off guard, baffled, or tongue-tied you may be lacking wisdom. Maybe a little arrogant. Be not dismayed, it's just time to make a change. The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. Psalm 25:14

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children.
Psalm 103:17

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Psalm 111:10

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 1:7

Now that you fear the Lord, hurry and join the ranks, because you're ready to receive All Three. You need both to get All Three. You can't have humility without the fear of the Lord and you won't have the fear of the Lord without humility. You need both to get All Three. Your humility and fear of the Lord qualifies you for riches, and honour, and life.

Who wouldn't take three for two?

All Three!!!

Poverty and Shame vs Honour

Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.  Proverbs 13:18

Instructions come to lead and guide to a destined place. Following instructions can be very detrimental to one's life. It can be a matter of life and death in some instances. Instructions that are modified or altered can cause major shipwreck. Poverty and shame are results of refusing instructions. Are you refusing instructions?

Honor is the result of being open to reproof. Another word for reproof is rebuke. Oops did I say rebuke?!!! We make the choice to regard rebuke. Think highly of rebuke. Consider rebuke. Show respect to rebuke. Pay attention to rebuke. Kind feeling towards rebuke. Rebuke........sharp, stern disapproval; reproof; reprimand. Reproof/rebuke, if received can be medicine to the spirit, soul, and body. Poverty and Shame vs Honour.

Follow instructions and receive reproof.

Step Out In Faith!!!

Do you really understand the power of Faith? Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Spend some time meditating on faith and make the decision today to Step Out In Faith!!!

For without me (Jesus) ye can do nothing. John 15:5

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
I Thessalonians 5:18

Take therefore no thought for the morrow; for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:34

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
I Peter 5:6

He Can!!!

The Lord provides for me
He gives me all I need
In pastures green, I rest
The waters are my guide

My soul, he makes me whole
His right paths lead the way
Though I experience hard times
 I will not be afraid

You are my protector
Your strength brings me comfort
You have blessed me that all can see
There is so much for me

As I journey through life
I remember my friends,
Mercy and good will follow me
In God's house I will be

Choosing Light Over Darkness!

Choosing Darkness Over Light is the choice we make when we listen to the wrong voice(s). The wrong voice can simply be the voice of our own will and desires. Darkness leads us down the wrong path. It warps our perception, comprehension, and articulation. Wrong becomes right and right is all wrong.

Darkness drives us to destructive ways and rash behaviors. You have to look in the mirror and ask yourself, "What have I allowed myself to become?" There are several things that can lead us to darkness.  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. I John 2:16

Darkness blinds minds from the Light. There is someone who can bring you out of darkness. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. I Peter 2:9

Fireworks blasted and lit the skies on the 4th of July only to die down minutes later. How many people grope in darkness? Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12

Darkness can bring bondage and prevents us from seeing afar off. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? Psalm 27:1 Nowadays, GPS, MapQuest, and other gadgets make it easy to find our way from one point to another. Unfortunately, it is not 100% guaranteed. There are times MapQuest takes you around the world and GPS runs you into dead ends and construction work, but thank God for Jesus. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

How long will you choose to stay in Darkness? Its time to take flight to the Light!

Choosing Light Over Darkness!

CHOOSE LIGHT!!!

What's the Worth?

There are times we put so much effort, time, focus, and attention in what we later find out to be the wrong places. It might be hard to believe, but some people are just stuck, stubborn, and set in their ways. What's the Worth?

Really, the truth of the matter is they're not going where you're going. They are not a piece of the puzzle no matter how hard you try or they try. Fairy tales are just that...tales What's the Worth?

The days of our years are threescore years and ten; (70 years that is and tomorrow is not promised to us) and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years (80 years), yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Proverbs 90:10 What's the Worth?

Are we wasting our time in areas we are not called to? Are we doodling our life away? Have we really come to the place where we can honestly say not my will Lord, but your will done? How many people say this, but their actions say something else? This is why the psalmist penned, So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Proverbs 90:12 We don't have the time to just let days, weeks, and years slip away. What's the Worth?

Time is valuable. Must I align myself with you? It's not what I want, it's whats best. What's the Worth? It's only what we do for Christ that will last. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Colossians 3:17 Again, What's the Worth?

What's the Worth? A hundredfold!!! Yes, I'll take it! Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time (IN THIS LIFE, THAT IS), houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. Mark 10:28-30

What's the Worth?

The Power of Things!

Things, Things, Things! Its amazing how we feel we can live with some Things and without other Things. It's because of Things why I'm still standing today. It's because of Things why I keep pressing toward the mark. Its because of Things I lift my hands and head in thanks to Him. Its because of Things I can see clearer each day. He keeps on doing great Things for me.

Its because of Things, I win some and lose some. Its because of Things, I sing. Its because of Things, I cry. Its because of Things, I bow to Him. Its because of Things, I submit to Him. Its because of Things, I came to Christ. Its because of Things, I stay rooted and grounded in Him. Do these Things have names? Of course, they're called THINGS!

Ever ask someone what's wrong and they respond Things? Better yet, what are you thinking about...you know Things!! Just Things. There's a purpose for Things and its all good. Ever been told Things will work out, Things are getting better, or Things are working for your good? Truly there is a Power of Things. God gives us a solution of Things in Romans 8:28, And we know that all Things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Learn to embrace Things.

What shall we then say to these Things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all Things? Who shall lay any Thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Romans 8:31-33 Nay, in all these Things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:37

PICK ONE!

There are many people who want their cake and eat it too. The belief that there are two worlds, some want the best of both. Let's reflect.... How many remember Mommy, Daddy, or someone telling us you can have one or the other, but you can't have both? How hard could the decision be? One decision can take us in the right direction while another decision can take us in the wrong direction. No decision, can lead to confusion, disorientation, indecisiveness, unstableness, double-minded, stuck, bound, insecurity, etc.

For some PICKING ONE is a faith and trust thing, for another its simple obedience. Always remember it's ONE, if not you will always have a piece of something. Right-Wrong, Good-Bad, God-mammon, Your will-God's Will, Your thoughts-God's thoughts, Heaven-Hell, Cold-Hot, Yes-No, and the list goes on. You see there are no in-betweens, no maybe so'ssss. We have to make up our mind to have a made up mind!

The Prophet Elijah asked a question, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. (I Kings 18:21) Will you choose God, today? There is a saying of old, you can't have one foot in the world and one foot in the "church".

It's impossible to have two heads. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24)  Fickle, fickle, fickle.....I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (Revelation 3:15) Don't be lukewarm, PICK ONE!

PICK ONE!!!
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve ; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell : but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. (Joshua 24:15)

Looking Back to Launch Forward!!!

Often times we hear don't look back on the past. It can be associated with negativity, pain, hurt, disappointments, and so much we just want to forget. Let's erase it, it never happened. Looking back can have its advantages and disadvantages. Lot's wife help us understand the disadvantage of looking back.

Lot's family was given the directive, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. Genesis 19:17 Following instructions are very important. Shortcuts or alterations are not permitted. The Divine Plan of God becomes sabotaged by man's deliberate disobedience. Deliberate disobedience leads to dead ends. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. Genesis 19:26

This was a quick dead end. there are some cases where the process is slower, but the results are the same....Dead End! Looking back was not profitable for Lot's wife. Yes, there are advantages to looking back. The songwriter pens, when I look back over my life and I think things over I can truly say that I've been blessed I've got a testimony.

You see, looking back can cause us to Launch Forward. Constructive meditation and reflection leads to positive change and growth. It is possible to study and learn from the past for a better present and a Launching Forward.

Another songwriter pens, look where He brought me from, look where He brought me from brought me out of darkness into His Marvelous Light, look where He brought me from. Some want to erase the past, but facing it can be key to your Launch. He hath made every thing beautiful in his time. Ecclesiastes 3:11a It's time to Launch Forward.

We all go through those moments of waiting. We wait, wondering if the Lord has indeed heard our prayers and if He heard what's the "hold-up"? In our eyes, time is of the essence. Our patience begins to short-circuit.

Sometimes frenzy and anxiety shows up and plays with our heads. When Lord becomes our plea. God heard you the first time. It's On the Way! He's not slack concerning His promises! Prophet Daniel had a similar experience. His waiting period was three weeks (21 days) of mourning. The great news is there was an end to his waiting period.

You can be encouraged and strengthened, because your waiting period in some areas is almost over. It's On the Way! Prophet Daniel received an explanation of his wait period.  Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand , and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard , and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me. (Daniel 10:12-13)  It's On the Way!

Get in the receiving mode. You can rejoice, because your answer has been Held Up, Delayed, but Right On Time!

Give Him Praise. It's On the Way!

MIND, Mind, MIND!!!!

There is a commercial that has been around for years. The words that have always rung in my ears are, "A MIND is a terrible thing to waste". A saying of old, "You can do anything you put  your MIND to". I have always received this as true in my life. I believe there is nothing I can not do. I CAN do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Phillipians 4:13, KJV) The key is do I want to do it. Somethings are just not interesting to me.

Readers, I hope this is not difficult to understand. If I don't do it, its not because I can't. Can't is not in my vocabulary and it shouldn't be in yours. I know where my stance comes from, as I stated earlier in this blog. Our MINDS are so powerful. If we only understood fully. Our MINDS can trip us up, if we're not careful. We can sit in one spot and travel around the world through our MINDS.

Sadly to say, there are MIND sicknesses. Some people are just sick in the MIND, BUT God is able to heal the MIND. If the enemy can get your MIND, he's got you. Because the carnal MIND is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (Rom. 8:7-8, KJV)

No doubt there are times our MINDS are all over the place, but the Bible teaches us how to focus. God's promise to you, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose MIND is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
(Isaiah 26:3)

MIND, Mind, MIND!!!!
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. (Phillipians 2:5, KJV)

Is the 2nd Death for You?

But as for the cowards and the ignoble and the contemptible and the cravenly lacking in courage and the cowardly submissive, and as for the unbelieving and faithless, and as for the depraved and defiled with abominations, and as for murderers and the lewd and adulterous and the practicers of magic arts and the idolaters (those who give supreme devotion to anyone or anything other than God) and all liars (those who knowingly convey untruth by word word or deed)---[all of these shall have] their part in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone. This is the second death.   Revelation 21:8 (Amplified)

Is the 2nd Death for You?

That was Then, This is Now!

There are times when flashbacks flood our minds. It’s possible that flashbacks can bring memories we want to forget. No doubt they can stir up emotions. We might even shake our heads in hopes of a quick erase. Take a moment and tell yourself....That was Then, This is Now.

The segments of our past may try to taunt us or simply keep us bound. No matter how we try to shake it, it can find us if we let it. NO, That was Then, This is Now. We may have gotten a grip on it, but somehow there seems to be an unwanted reminder from someone or those that want to hold onto the past for you. With a touch of love and a bit of boldness declare.... That was Then, This is Now.

There is a positive to the past. You can learn from the past and use it as stepping stones to your future. It can motivate and encourage you to become a better you. So, in spite of what others may think and/or say, hold the banner up That was Then, This is Now.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  Philippians 4:8

It Is Finished!

I want to take the time to thank all that prayed, showed their love and support during my rigorous journey in pursuit of my M. Ed. I am officially done. Last paper submitted an hour ago. It has been an rewarding and trying experience. The death of my father, Jack, who I was named after :-) occurred during this journey.

It was difficult, but I pressed my way in honor of my father. I miss him! I have experienced so much in this pursuit. The loss of my father, toil, turmoil, turbulence, loss of relationships/friendships, a great amount of hurts, pains, disappointments, discouragement, ministry disappointments, and the list goes on, but I made it!!!

I can truly say, BUT God! And for this I'm forever grateful to the Lord and you. Truly if it had not been for the Lord on my side, where would I be. May the Lord bless you for your prayers on my behalf.

It Is Finished!!!

What If?

What If God didn’t care? I’m so glad He does. Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all you concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. I Peter 5:7 (AMP)

What If God didn’t love us? I’m so glad He does. For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. John 3:16 (AMP)

What If God couldn’t be trusted? I’m so glad He can.  Lean on, trust in, and be confident  in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP)

What If God doesn’t help? I’m so glad He does. I will lift up my eyes to the hills [around Jerusalem, to sacred Mount Zion and Mount Moriah], from whence shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:1-1 (AMP)

What If God didn’t clothe and feed us? I’m so glad He does. And [Jesus] said to his disciples, Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious and troubled [with cares] about your life, as to what you will [have to] eat; or about your body, as to what you will [have to] wear. Luke 12:22 (AMP)

What If God didn’t know your thoughts? I’m so glad He does. Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!  Psalm 139:23 (AMP)

What If God had no expectations of you? I’m so glad He does. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

What If God never showed us the way? I’m so glad he does. Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.  John 14:6 (AMP)

What If God left us without power? I’m so glad He didn’t. Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possess]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.
Luke 10:19 (AMP)

What If God didn’t give us joy? I’m so glad He did. And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold. Nehemiah 8:10 (AMP)

What If God left us without hope? I’m so glad He didn’t. To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is the Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory.
Colossians 1:27 (AMP)

What If God left us without friends? I’m so glad He didn’t. The man of many friends [a friend of all the world] will prove himself a bad friend, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.  Proverbs 18:24 (AMP)

What If God wasn’t Great? I’m so glad He is. Great is the Lord and highly to be praised and His greatness is [so vast and deep as to be] unsearchable. Psalm 145:3 (AMP)

Take a few moments and think about the What Ifs. The What Ifs are infinite, because Our God is. He is Omnipotent (almighty or infinite in power, as God), Omniscient (having complete or unlimited knowledge, awareness, or understanding; perceiving things), and Omnipresent (present everywhere at the same time). You have to give Him the praise, glory, and honor. God tells us to give honor where honor is due. One thing that is sure, He deserves all the honor and all the glory.

In conclusion, What If I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior? I’m so glad you asked! ETERNAL LIFE

Time-Relationship

It takes time to work on relationships. Patience and understanding are pillars as well as love and respect. There is one relationship we sometimes neglect and fail to strengthen. This relationship is a Time Relationship. We must develop and enhance our relationship with time.

Time is of the essence. Time is valuable.  Time can work in our favor or against us. We must understand time. One thing to remember is that time waits for no one. The clock keeps ticking and time keeps moving. We can get stuck in time. Growth is connected with time. Productivity is connected with time. Increase love and friendship is connected with time. Short-term and long-term goals are connected with time.

If we want to see fruit and be fruitful we must understand the time factor. Many people spend money and time on time-management courses and books. Needless to say, the feelings of defeat and hopelessness interrupts the efforts of many. The point is to move from theory to application. Discipline is a friend of a Time Relationship. Make it a goal to develop a relationship with Time.

Time Relationship, it works!!!

Keep it Simple!!!

Keep it Simple!  Jesus did.  He preached the gospel of the kingdom of God. It is God's desire that none should perish. Everyone should be able to hear the good news in a comprehensible  way. And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? ..... we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. Acts 2:8-11 Keep it Simple!

Jesus is not trying to trip souls up. He wants them to understand, so they can make a decision for eternal life. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:29-30.  Keep it Simple!

Everyone needs to hear the gospel. The educated, uneducated, old, and the young. 'But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.  Mark 10:24

Remember,  Keep it Simple!
