What time is it?

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-10

FORGIVING FRIDAY!!!

Forgiveness is always present. Yes, we forgave in the past, but as long as we live we must extend forgiveness. When we sit back and reflect how much the Lord has forgiven us, extending forgiveness should not be an option. It's true that offences can be great, but the Bible says vengeance blelongs to the Lord. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written , Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Romans 12:19

Jesus has been right where you are. He had to forgive and that's why He was able to tell Peter to forgive seventy times seven. Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Matthew 18:22 In other words, there is no limit to extending forgiveness. We have been taught to treat others the way we want to be treated.

Forgiveness may not be reciprocated at times, but we must still extend forgiveness. Forgiveness frees us from so many things. Things such as hurt, pain, discouragement, bondage, and the list goes on. Most importantly, if we don't forgive Our Father in heaven will not forgive us. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven  forgive your trespasses. Mark 11:26

Choose to WALK IN FORGIVENESS today, it's your choice.

WHAT'S GOOD???!!!

How many times do we hear this question asked? What's Good? This question may be asked in many ways, but our response can make a world of a difference. We have a choice to speak positive or negative. The energy we sometimes expend speaking negatively can be used to speak positively.

Positive talk can change things and work in our favor. Positive talk charges the atmosphere. Negative talk can open you up for failure and attack. It can also keep you stuck. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 18:21

Choose to speak words of life today and everyday for the rest of your life. It's your choice!!!

FREE TO BE ME..............

I penned this poem about seven or eight years ago. I am free to share :-), so I pray and hope it blesses someone's dear soul. Note: I didn't change a "thang"!!!

There's a voice inside that cries
I want to be free to be Me
Let me out that I can see the Me that's free
Free to speak, free to write, free to create
Just free to be Me
They say we're born free, but as we grow our freedom gets lost
Oh how, I want to be free to be Me
I'm not like others and you're not like me
So open your hearts to receive the Me that's free
Free to be me is the key to my growth
Sometimes we wander
Sometimes we fill the void with things
Things that cover the Me that's searching to be free
My journey continues and will never stop
Until I'm free to be Me
The Me I was created to Be.
