It's possible, Happy and Sad!!!

Happy and Sad is how I feel. My heart aches and my spirit rejoice. I'm rejoicing, because 19yrs ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl..... Amber Shareese. I have watched her grow and develop into a beautiful young lady. April 26 is her day no doubt, but 26 has been a reminder for me of Jack, my father's passing. It's a mix for me. I remember birth and death. Can this be? I sit here and the tears form. I wipe them quickly before any one sees. The 26th of every month since his death on September 26 I think of daddy. Of course, I think of him at other times. It's just that on this day(26) I remember the call I received as I prepared for service.  My heart aches as I remember my cousin saying, "Jackie, Jack died." I am lost for words, but yes it is possible.....Happy and Sad.

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort. Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. II Corinthians 1:3-4 (KJV)

Jesus Watch!!!

The dictionary defines Watch: to be alertly on the lookout, look attentively, observe, as to see what comes, is done, or happens, to look or wait attentively and expectantly, to watch for a signal; to watch for an opportunity, to be careful or cautious. to keep awake, to keep guard.

There are so many watches going on.  When I awoke at 3AM this morning there was announcement going across the TV screen.  It said there is a tornado watch in certain NC counties. This led me to search tornado watch on the computer.  Not only was there a tornado watch, it was a severe thunderstorm watch between 3AM-4:00AM.  It started storming about 3:58AM.  The meteorologist was correct.  There are other watches such as hurricane watch or an earthquake watch.  The Good Book as some refer to tells us to watch and pray.  Mark 13:33 (KJV) Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. It's time to add the watch to your prayer.

I would like to announce the Jesus Watch.  Of assurance Jesus is going to show up.  We can't put a time on it, but He did leave us some nuggets. Matthew 24:14 (KJV) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. There are signs of the times. Matthew 24:5-8 (KJV)  For many shall come in my name, saying , I am Christ; and shall deceive many.  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled : for all these things must come to pass , but the end is not yet.  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.  All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Jesus is getting ready for His return and our arrival.  John 14:2-3 (KJV) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am , there ye may be also.  There are many preparation for tornadoes and hurricanes, etc. We must prepare, we must be ready.  Jesus' return is any day now and we must keep in mind His timing.  II Peter 3:8 (KJV) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day

Jesus Watch is a continuous announcement and will only cease when he shows up.  I Thessalonians 4:16-17 (KJV) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Broadcast Announcement:  Jesus Watch remains in effect until He returns.

Go Serve!

Did you know when you serve it can bring victory and many rewards? Imagine an intense ping pong game and its game point. The serve can determine your win. The serve in a tennis match or volleyball game can be the point of victory. You can also make money when you serve. In most service type jobs tips are allowed. Waiters and waitresses can determine the amount of thier tips by the way they serve. Did I mention you can become wealthy when you serve? "Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo , we have left all, and have followed thee. And Jesus answered and said , Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life." Mark 10:28-30 (KJV)

A person knows how they like to be served, so why not serve in the same capacity or better?

"Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations." Psalm 100 (KJV)

ABOUT FORTY!

Just want readers to know when I first started writing this blog it was just about forty days. As you can see I was delayed, but on time. smile :-)

About Forty!!!!

Grace, Peace, and Mercy.

I humbly write this blog. It's been about 40 days. Interestingly, I would check it periodically like a blog penned by me would appear. There are many thoughts in my spirit, but making the transition from my thoughts to paper has been delayed. Going back to my last blog I realize it has been about 40 days since I've blogged. The number 40 stood out. It stood out because it confirmed the thoughts of what I was going to pen. The first thought was going to be entitled, It was a Light Thing! "For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!] II Corinthians 4:17 (AMP) Another thought would have been entitled, Its All Good! "We are assured and know that all things work together and are for good to and for those who love God and are called according to His design and purpose." Romans 8:28 (AMP) A long story short, I'm back. I want to say thank you to my audience for not giving up on me and checking the blog periodically. It was "ABOUT FORTY!". We will have this Forty experience along this journey, but to God be the Glory I made it!!!!
