From Me to You

This poem was penned by Apostle Jacqueline Walters. The poem is dedicated to all the wonderful Educators at Living Waters Christian Church of NC.

Today is the day we're back at school
Don't be dismayed everything will be cool
Old faces new faces common core too
Be encouraged you will learn that too

Now take a deep breath and make the big step
To walk through the doors with no regrets
You have to do it no ifs ands or buts
DPS is depending on you to get them out of this crux

You can do it so roll up your sleeves
You worked real hard for this new pay increase
1.2 is not enough
Take it anyways its a bag of lunch

Now sit back and listen to all the presenters
They've worked hard to be ready for September
No sleeping doodling or surfing the net
Listen up lets help kids pass the test

Maybe they'll give us a free lunch too
Eat, eat up no more until June
I hope you smiled chuckled and laughed
I thought of you we can face this task

EOG is still the buzzword
No retest so please say a prayer
Did I say prayer they took it out
That's the real answer to why were here

I have to go but want you to know
You're appreciated this is no show
June 7th will be here before you know

Fire power anointing too
It's going to take all three for what we're about to do
Be blessed and remember not to stress
God has you you're the best
